Early morning departure from Bozeman. It started snowing just for us ;). The first day we visited Susie and Chad. We were gonna drive all the way to Grandma and Grandpa's, but it got too late so we stopped at a hotel in Cedar City and then drove to Grandma and Grandpa's on day 2. Stayed for the day and visited with them.
LOOONG drive
Diapers are a little small ;)
I have a picture of all of us together somewhere. I'll have to find it and add it to the post later.
On day 3 we left Grandma and Grandpa's and drove to Holbrook, AZ via the Grand Canyon. This was a fun day. It was gorgeous, and it was good for everyone to have a break as just a family. It is stressful when you're on a time schedule but you have a bunch of family members who will have hurt feelings if you don't stop by to say hi. It was nice not to have to worry about it anymore and just be together, detoxing from graduate school.
Eating cookies that Aunt Susie gave us. He got all the raisin oatmeal ones ;)
Love the red sand! Waiting for daddy. He hiked up to see a cool view, but I wasn't comfortable taking Jack because it was on a cliff with no railings and it was a long, hot hike up.
Lots of Asians like to take pictures of my kids...
Grand Canyon
Jack decided to take off his flip flops and run all around the visitors area.
But he got tired of walking.
Back on the road to get to Holbrook.
Day 4 we played in the hotel pool in the morning, then we drove to Lubbock, TX. By this time everyone was done being in the car. Sean wanted to take an extra day to get there so that we could have more breaks, but I just wanted to be done. So we drove all the way to Lubbock.
The BEST chew toy. It put him right to sleep ;)
The backpack goes on the head.
Important phone calls along the way.
Fell asleep while watching a show on the iPad!
They're both FINALLY asleep.
Entered Texas! Only 7 hours of driving in front of us!
The last day we drove to our new home. It was a great sight.
