The boys both got the swine flu. This is day 2 for Jack. Poor guy had a fever for a week. It was horrid. Levi started getting sick Thursday evening. We took both of them to the doctor on Friday morning, where they confirmed that they had influenza. Friday night was a nightmare with Levi. His fever got to 105.5, and with meds I couldn't get it below 103. I took him to the ER and the stupid doctor just brushed my fears aside. Levi isn't even 3 months old! It is so dangerous for them to get fevers that high! And he kept throwing up! He said that he wasn't dehydrated yet and was doing "remarkably well." But babies get dehydrated so quickly, especially when he was throwing up like that, he should have at least given him an IV to help cool him off and get him hydrated. It pissed me off so bad. Luckily Levi's sickness only lasted through Saturday afternoon.
