We're home now, and school has started! We got some pears a couple weeks ago and started canning. We have 12 jars of pears and we're gonna do another 12 jars of peaches tomorrow. It's kinda fun. It gives Sean and I some fun time together that's also productive!
What?!? Do you have a canner, or did you do it in boiling water? You have to teach me, I've been wanting to can ALL summer! Now there's tomatoes like crazy, so I want to can some before they're gone.
ReplyDeleteWe got a $35 boiling canner from Cal Ranch. Try to find it on Craigslist or something though, $35 feels like a lot haha but it's waaay cheaper than a pressure canner or a steamer canner. But it's super easy!! I'll message you the directions :)
